Loneliness - the poem
This is a poem I came up with yesterday while I was trying to fall asleep. I just started writing it in my head, and it was too good to just forget it, so I got up and finished it in about...fourty five minutes? I think? Something like that. Anyways, here's the poem:
Loneliness
Loneslines,
It leaves a hole in your chest,
An empty cave,
An empty room,
A broken heart,
An open wound,
It takes away all of your light,
In comes the pain,
No hope in sight,
It's so hard to bear,
It's so hard to breath,
I'm in so much pain,
I'm in so much grief,
With no friends in sight,
There's no darker night,
The hole is still,
So hard to fill,
It's no easy task to swallow that pill,
How long it remains,
Only time will tell,
But from what it looks,
This'll be my hell,
Ignore it as you try,
It will come to pry,
Every beat of your heart,
Every thought that you think,
It will always be there,
Its presence,
Its stare,
In the darkness it lurks,
In the back of your mind,
Because also for them,
Friends are quite hard to find,
It's no easier task to find friends when you're it,
For who'd ever want to fall into that pit.
*Audience claps*
"Thank you, thank you." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
